Temperamental student film makers, Mark Jackson and Duncan Cowan, are setting out to make a documentary about a large and deadly black panther, seen stalking a small village deep in the English countryside.
"Even when it's stuffed you can still feel the power of The Beast"
On their way they will interview 'surviviors of the cat, and then go out with a local woodsman to track down the beast, all in the name of cinema.
The two directors with their cast and crew in tow are being shadowed by a documentary camera crew, who capture the self-destructive auteurs as they really lose the plot.
